    Default Another Successful Eviction

Another successful eviction of a Racoon hoping for a easy meal. I had them cleaned out but more migrated in. This one was very docile, not growling to trying to escape.

Maybe he’s just been trapped somewhere much, he knows he got a free meal. He knows he is going to get to go on a trip. And he will probably be back and start it all over again. Coon skin hats! Good luck.

My city coons are too smart to go into a trap like that. They will do everything to get the food without walking into the trap. They are very smart critters.

As long as ours do get trapped the grim reaper will stay in the safe.

Default Day After Easter Coon Eviction

This Coon has been coming in every night and I couldn't understand how it was not getting caught. Well I took a broom and had to smack the paddle in the trap before it closed. I had it set too tight. Yesterday evening I scattered dry cat food all around inside to make it work to eat everything. With the trip paddle set very near tripping with the wind gusts I caught this thief finally.

This Coon gets a free right out of here later this morning.

Just when he thought it was safe, wham the door shuts! He was liking all the food you'd been giving him.

So the little spring that prevents the trap door from raising after a catch was torn off somehow by the last boar coon I caught. Bent the trap up too. I installed a stronger spring but didn't compensate equally with more of a Hair Trigger setting to the Paddle. I'm back in business. 2 big possums are rolling thru now right at dark, this coon has been out there every morning. My fruit trees are LOADED with fruit. If I don't clean them out now they will be cleaning me out soon.

    Default Cookin' With Gas Now!

I think I have the trigger on the trap fixed. This critter thought I provided a free meal of dry cat food..............wrong again.

I've got to get these yard snipers cleaned out before we head to The Rez or our cat will need Battle Garb.

As Ketchn says "Kaboom" of course I imagine more of a Ka-click sound with the door shutting...
