New lighting setup
Here on Lake Oconee, a friend of mine and I have been doing a little experimenting. It seems that white light is attracting better than green here lately. We have figured out a pretty good setup. I’ve made some outriggers out of metal conduit that reach out close to where my line enters the water. There I have a 15 watt led off road light that shines into the water. It’s about 12” above the surface. Then I attach my underwater lights to the end as well. The 15 watt lights are about 950 lumens but they barely pull any amps. I have ordered some 40 watt lights that are 6k lumens. Might run those since I don’t spend more than 5-6 hours out there at a time. I’ll work on getting pics once all the kinks are worked out. If anyone has any input, I’d like to hear it
