I know its not the same thing but i pull crank baits from my kayak with trolling motor .i hang them over the side and watch to see how they run .when my battery gets weak have to kick er up a notch .i pull several diff lures but the ones that i was slaying with this past summer and fall were bass pro xts 1-1\4 .you can add a in line trolling sinker to get em where you want to .thats just what i do .
