In the end, it will boil down to the individual. Just because you CAN take a limit every time due to the electronics, doesn't mean you HAVE to. Some will abuse it, like happens in all aspects of our lives. Some will cherry pick "only the big slabs" and toss back the more abundant "eaters".

None of us can control anything beyond our own moral compass.

Nor do I see the Fish and Game boards regulating the equipment; only the harvest limits and the sizes that can be taken. And even if they do adjust those, people will abuse it.
