Fished a lake Saturday and was long lining over a point. I can't turn on a dime longlining, as yall know. This boat keeps trolling towards me after I make my turn and pass back over where I had been for the last hour, gets over top of my jigs, and is gaining ground on me to where after I unhooked a fish, I had to shorten my cast, and just let the line off the reel to get it to proper depth. He eventually veered off and did a 180. I cut him off at the point to get back over the spot I wanted to be in, but I had been making the same 100yd circle for an hour. Dang right I was going to cut him off when he was no where to be seen prior to that.
Jordan Lake NC in the winter. Fish would (may still) stack up on the creek/river channel ledges. Seen it where it's possible to have normal conversations between two boats, but it was always pleasant. Havent been there in a while though.
