Found out I was diabetic last year. Took two months of fighting with the insurance company to get the medications that were prescribed. I know it can be a hassle

**UPDATE** Went up to Overland Park, Ks today to keep my appt with the specialist on my knee. Turns out my primary was concerned with a growth in my bone she thought was cancerous, and referred me to the university of Kansas Medical Center Orthopedics (cancer) center. Good news is it's NOT what she thought and is a growth platlet like grissle that in children will dissipate. well mine didn't and crystalized in place and formed what the dr. called a crystalized tumor. non-cancerous and out of the way if the VA decides to do a knee replacement. Still upto them (the VA) to repair the two tears in my knee. The specialist also said Part of the pain in that knee is caused by advanced arthritis...Wasn't able to get ahold of my primary today to see when and where the years are gonna be fixed, nor what is gonna be done about mr arther....AAAAAAARRGH!!!!!!!
So glad it was not cancer my friend. Knees can be repaired and fixed. My granddaughter had knee surgery seven months ago for a torn ACL from varsity basketball. She is now all- state, an AAU champion, and getting college scholarship offers. God is able and He will do the same for you in the name of Jesus.

No cancer is always a blessing
Yes Sir, DockShootinJack, No cancer is a blessing.
Ship, Thank you Sir, and glad your daughter is doing great. The Lord does His work in His time. It's just not fast enough for us sometimes. But He will heal it, Or direct the Dr.'s in His time...Yes Sir.
Prayers answered Eric, this is the best news you could hope for. Continued prayers for some quick answers on when/how the knee will be treated. God is good and merciful.

Finally got ahold of my Primary care RN today, after another round of ring-around-the-rosy with their phone system .Man...After she said three times the Dr. in Ks was supposed to operate on my knee she actually read the referral and found he was only to evaluate the knee. Now to wait for that, his evaluation, and recommendation and see IF I get a knee, or just what....I know he wants another x-ray in 6 months. Hope I don't have to wait till then...I know I need PATIENCE, but between the knee and ankle on the same leg, and it aggravating my messed up L-4 and L-5 in my lower back...my PATIENCE is wearing awfully thin...Prayers Please...
**UPDATE** After talking with My Primary DR.'s RN I called the DR.'s Office in KS today to see what he had recommended to the VA. and His RN said he had told them, that the Crystalized MALToma was not cancerous and would not be in the way of attaching the replacement knee. So Now I guess I hWait for them to recomend me to go to an orthopedic specialist her to get a new knee...
