Well, here's an update. I wound up having to call the VA community Care Office in Fayetteville Arkansas. The referral that was sent up to the DR. is strickly for my knee. My primary telling me to bring up my ankle problem was totally wrong, and anything they did for it would have come out of my pocket. Also the fact she, My Primary care DR., saying the ankle is just an aggravation from the knee is way off base too...Maybe one day I'll find someone who will treat the patient, not bow and stoop to the Govt. Bureaucracy...I'm getting tired of this crap real fast...
Sometimes you have to stay on them to get the care you need. I hope things get better for you soon
