Depth Mark's on rods

I haven't marked line in a while. I marked my line every 3 feet, cause that is how long a yard stick be and I knows my 3s math. I let out line the length of the driveway to mark it, prob 40 feet. Hooked the jig on a tree nail and walked the rod back to the shop and secured the pole. I then marked the line with a marker using the yardstick measures. I then painted the marks on the line about 2 inches wide strip.

The paint will eventually wear off.
