1 2 and 3 colors . I used a solid one color and then a 2 color .....and even tried a 3 color .
Mind you I was just on a dock at a boat ramp and none of the fish were very large .
But 2 things of importance came into play ....only had an hour and it was kinda on my way home from work
Solid one color seemed to get the most bites , followed closely by the tri color tube .
bi color did ok as well and after 34 fish I hit the trail to the house ....4 pm to 5 pm window .
The really small black crappie liked the tri color , the fair to small whites seemed to like the solid . the bluegill and warmouth bit all 3 in about the same fashion best I can remember .
The smallmouth war crappie was REALLY pretty BTW
I think we should rename them yawl ....just saying
Fish seemed to be somewhat suspended in around 8 foot of water in the shade .
Filled my spool over full before I went and fought it and probably could have topped 50 if it didn't fight me .
Pretty entertaining little fish stop , KABOOM is the word
