Shake my spears are a favorite of mine , I have a garage full of them . I love the 7 footers and have a bud that just whacks the fire out of crappie with one paired up with a Shimano reel , you might know him ….he goes by SK
I use them from medium heavy 7 ft one pc. for salt water and sockeye all the way down to 5 ultralite and have a bunch in my arsenal including a Barbie pole that has killed more fish than most people will ever see on a single rod and reel , and yes we still use it after 4 years of owning it . I carry a 5 6 Gx series in my back seat at all times as well .
Lots of fish have fallen victim to me with a shake my spear in hand for sure . heck one year we did a series on spider rigging with shake my spears …..we all used the spider man children's version on lake Palestine and just filled the boat with slabs ,because you see some take it more serious than others
