Two of my best producers for casting to "post spawn" Crappie are the same two for spawning Crappie :

1/16oz marabou Roadrunner (solid Pink) ... to cover the first 6-8ft of open water around cover.
1/16oz weedless ballhead jig/#2 Aberdeen hook/plastics (normally either a blue/char Crappie Thunder Tube, or a Slabanator Hot Rod in purple/char. .... to cover the 8-15ft of the water column and down in the cover).

On into the Summer ... I'm usually Pushing jigs & cranks. I haven't really done cranks enough to have a favorite, yet. And as far as the jigs go ... I generally use different styles on each of the 3-4 rods I have out, then let the fish tell me what they want. I am, however, beginning to favor the Slabanator Booty Shaker on a open hook jighead (following behind a 1/2oz to 1.5oz weight).

Slabanator Hot Rod is a "carrot" shaped soft plastic bait. Comes in three sizes : Mega Rod 3" - Hot Rod 2.5" - Mini Rod 1.75"
Slabanator Booty Shaker is a "boot tail" shaped soft plastic bait. Comes in one size - 2"
(they & the other Slabanator baits can be seen at : https://www.crappie.com/crappie/-mem...ie-jigs-2.html )
