We put the brackets to the torture test on KY Lake today. They held up and functioned perfectly. I was checking for possible pinch points or issues that somebody might have in using them. Tim and I are neither little guys and we found them to be a really nice addition to an already great product. I will be putting them on all 3 of my Milleniums.

Tried my seats out for the first time this past weekend, that is the first thing I noticed and did not care for was the straps. They seemed to get in the way, I would spin around to check on things in the back or reposition and noticed myself pushing down on the straps pulling the back forward. I like your idea!!!!
Also I can't understand why the salt water version is adjustable and the others are not ? I was planning on ordering new strapping and redoing mine to make them adjustable as I prefer a tad more "recline" to mine.
With the brackets, you could drill the hole in the frame to accommodate any recline angle you wanted. There's already a hole drilled in the frame at the bottom. All you would have to do is get the recline angle you want and drill the top hole in each side of the frame.
