Update: My friend is in surgery to have the splint installed to drain the fluid from his pancreas as I write this. If it works his liver function will improve and he will go home for a few days. He is scheduled for surgery on th 25th to remove the cancerous tumor. The Dr. seems optimistic. I was there when he told him, a relief was felt by all. Right now he looks like an OSCAR statue. Very jaundiced. That will go away quickly if the drain works. Also my nephew is having his gall bladder removed today. They managed to drain it overnight. And I want to report I have calmed down a lot. Thanks for the prayers. Through you all and through God they are working. Will deal with my brother's surgery next friday. Danny

I will update as soon as his surgeon see's him to tell him for sure either way about the tumor. Stink is helping , his color getting better already. I told him he looked like an Oscar trophy and we had a laugh. Nephew doing good, back home. Found out last night a close family friend has breast cancer.Double mastectomy in her near future. Seems like it is storming down. Keep praying please. Danny

Heavenly Father, we come to you today to rebuke the sickness of Danny’s brother, nephew, and friend. We pray for strength and comfort for all those affected by this. We stand firm on our faith and will not submit to the lies and misconceptions that Satan brings forth. Guide the medical judgments and hands of the doctors. Father, all the glory is yours. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Just got update. My buddy will have surgery Friday to remove the tumor, if possible. Dr. is optimistic!!! Praise God. I will be in Houston that day with my brother having his surgery. Don't normally wish I could be in 2 places at once, but that would be the time. Keep praying. The prayers are making the negatives go away. And thanks all of you.

Father as our pastor just reminded us this past Sunday referencing Psalm 46...God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. There is nothing that we cannot endure when we place our trials in your hands. I pray along with many others for you to intercede in all these petitions set before you by our good friend and your servant Danny. We do live in a broken and sinful world. Sickness and disease are constantly knocking at our door. We can boldly come before you through the power of your Holy Spirit, and in the name of Jesus our Savior. Please show mercy and grace to all those who Danny is interceding for, and if it be your will, heal them. If not Lord, I ask that you raise up Danny and those around him to be at peace with it, knowing that you are in control even when things don't turn our like we want. Amen.
