Another update: They decided not to put in the splint on my friend. Instead they are doing an Endoscopic ultrasound and biopsy. They are also testing his lymphs and blooud vessels. Trying to get a better look at tumor removal. They determined they can not just remove his pancreas. God bless him. He just made 64. Thanks for the prayers so far and the continuing prayers.

Again thanks so much. Our nephew is having his gall bladder drained as we speak. Was to enlarged and inflamed to remove. Removal is tomorrow now. My friend gets the pancreas splint at 12:30. His family and he thank all of you. They have a feeling of peace this morning. I feel better myself. Please keep praying. Danny

I was blessed by your PM to me. As I mentioned there are only two questions of faith to be answered in this situation.
1) CAN GOD TRUST YOU WITH TROUBLE?
2) DO YOU TRUST GOD WITH YOUR TROUBLES?

Don't try to argue with the storms in life and don't try to rationalize when everything is shaking like an earthquake. Don't try to deal with the power of Satan on your own. Head for safety and refuge in the arms of God. Realize is that God is continually available. We have to be like Paul and keep on walking in spite of the difficulties of the day. Philippians 3: 13-14 “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” PUSH your way through. PUSH = Pray Until Something Happend.

Psalms 46:1 “ God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” A mighty fortress is our God. He is a stronghold and a tower in your life that will never fail. Jesus Christ is the One who opens His arms to you and says, "Come to Me with all your burdens, roll them upon Me, give Me the problem, and I promise to be what you need."

Update: My friend is in surgery to have the splint installed to drain the fluid from his pancreas as I write this. If it works his liver function will improve and he will go home for a few days. He is scheduled for surgery on th 25th to remove the cancerous tumor. The Dr. seems optimistic. I was there when he told him, a relief was felt by all. Right now he looks like an OSCAR statue. Very jaundiced. That will go away quickly if the drain works. Also my nephew is having his gall bladder removed today. They managed to drain it overnight. And I want to report I have calmed down a lot. Thanks for the prayers. Through you all and through God they are working. Will deal with my brother's surgery next friday. Danny
