Didn't look much like a Flier to me, either. I'm more curious about the rear dorsal fin being pointed, as Fliers and most other sunfish have a rounded rear dorsal fin. Well, except for the Redbreast Sunfish, which does have a pointed peak on the rear dorsal fin.
Ain't no cross species of a Crappie & sunfish of ANY kind, as that don't happen. Could be a cross between a Redear & something else .... or possibly just a Redear with different coloration that normal.![]()
