The re-icing will work fine until you get home. If you want them dry and cold try dry ice. I use them in one of my coolers to keep my catch cold for the weekend. I get my dry ice at Wally World. Just don't store the fillets directly against the dry ice or the filets will be solid frozen! Just keep them separated by a few inches.
