    Yep, Just had to get it home. A prop rod for the motor has already been ordered, along with a cover and few other things.

    Since I don't own an Xpress, I have no idea what your link has to do with anything. I own a Triton, with a performance pad hull. Not all Xpress have a pad hull.

    If you think the ride of a regular mod V WE and the ride of a pad hull boat are the same, you obviously haven't ridden in a true pad hull tin boat. They ride like a glass boat. Fact. Your Predator has a hull design that is different from their normal line. It may ride somewhat smooth, I have no idea. I've never been in one.

    It turns out that the Xpress factory is next door to one of the place I work in Hot Springs. I went to a few of the North Texas boat dealers and saw lots of Xpress boats, very impressed with Xpress. Their X51 looks like a fantastic boat for what I want to do, fish small waters economically. If this Stratos doesn't work out, I know where I'll be looking next.
