The water on Larto Lake is still rising steadily. Rainfall near the lake Monday into early Tuesday generally ranged from 0.50-1.00". This resulted in about a two-inch rise. My guess is that Larto will rise about three more feet by mid-March and crest at about 50.0 feet. If this occurs, then the road at the Pentecostal church and the road near Uncle Bud's RV Camp will have water over them. Water lacks one foot being over the road at the church. Camps near the river will begin taking on water at a level near 49 feet.

I’ll probably be heading that way to remove as much as I can from my camp in the next few days.

We took and moved what may flood over the weekend. If it stays at that forecast I'll be good......Hope everyone else is too
I’ll be good at 50, but 50.5 and it’s inside. Just too close for comfort, so I’m going.
Jonathon
Water is rising but it has slowed some.

The crest on the Black River at Acme has been revised upward one foot. This exceeds the level of the March, 2016 flood. Minor lowland flooding is occurring near the river; however, should the river reach 51 feet, then the community of Brouillette begins to flood.
The latest data indicates the water level on Larto Lake continues to rise. Crests on the Black River at Acme and Jonesville Lock have been revised upward and this will affect Larto. In fact, Larto may see a crest between 50 and 51 feet around mid-March. If that occurs, roads near the Pentecostal church and Uncle Bud's RV Camp will flood. Camps near the river will also flood. Should Larto reach 51 feet, than numerous camps and homes will flood
What’s sad is a lot of this could be prevented if they opened the morganza spillway, which is what it’s designed for; but they Refuse to open it!

Does morganza help? I think they started opening it....Might be too late
