Thank you very much.
HONEY
That is a fantastic link. Although I’m not crazy about the “actual information”. It is exactly what I needed to know. It’s time for us to be moving stuff from bottom level. Thank you again
HONEY
I'm not excited either. You're on Larto? I wasn't around in 2016 how bad was the flooding?
I’m on saline. I had 13 inches in main camp and 18 inches in back bedroom. Some camps had water up to roof.
Jonathon
Oh man that’s terrible. Yes im
on Larto. But fortunately our camp is not in me in lowest areas. We had about 8 inches on our bottom slab where we have a downstairs bathroom and storage room as well as a storage shed. We were surrounded by water. I felt like I was on Noah’s ark. We parked our truck before the Baptist church and boated into our camp. We were in here 21 days before we could get our truck in. We stayed to make sure all would be ok and if electricity was lost we could clear out our freezers. We never lost electricity. Thankfully our meter box is very high and water never reached it. There were a
lot of people who had terrible flooding. Boat houses had water to roofs etc. our boathouse floats and made it thru ok at 52.4 feet when created. We had so me deck damage but all in all
just a ton of work cleaning up. Not looking forward to that at all. If predictions are correct we will get about 2 inches of water in same places. We started picking stuff up today and bringing to upper main floor of camp. I’m still hoping and praying the predictions miss it . Hopefully for you too!
HONEY
Honey,
What area of the lake are you on? I'm near the larto landing store.
I’m about 1/2 mike toward BAPTIST church.
HONEY
Headed that way shortly. Should get there around lunch. The weather guy in Alexandria told me his best guess is larto creating 49 to 51, not good but better than 2016 IF that holds true.
I’ll take that prediction over the one at Lake and Rivers. I hope he gets it right. If 2016 was 52’4”. At 49 to 51 it will miss my slab). Hope it misses you too
