Thread: Went anyway!

After asking about Lake Martin earlier in the week and getting no good responses; I decided to go anyway. I thought hard against it, but I’m on call and my boy had a birthday party to attend at 11, so it was the obvious choice being I live 5 minutes away. Launched at daylight and fished for 3 hours. Kept 11 nice ones. Broke off on another good one at the boat and lost another one lifting it in. Threw several dinks back as well. All in all, it was a solid short solo trip. By the way, grass and boats everywhere and wind was terrible!
