Yes Slab and Randy gar are very good to eat BUT they are a PAIN in the rear to clean!!! I caught 2 of them over 3' this week but threw them both back b/c I did not want to clean them, especially at 9 O'Clock at night.

oh yeah..they are tough to clean...but the next one I land I will make some patties with.....

I'll just put beef on the smoker, that or fry some gator up.
