These pictures were taken at the Old River Control Structure all gates are open 100 %. That is amazing to see the force and volume of water that moves through there. Any way I was headed to 3 Rivers WMA to go take a look and learn my way around Dobs Bay in the interior of the complex. I new right away we weren't going to catch any fish when we got to the parking lot and it had 3" of water on it, caught a small bass and one sac a lait.![]()

Skip Jacks was also my first thought watching Steve Douglas on the Ohio and Tennessee rivers Catching Skips for Catfish Bait behind spillways ---- just was not sure with that Dark head.... It brought back memories of snagging Buffalo
Cool Pictures, thanks for sharing.

Man that would spin the old hydro-electric mega watt meter. Looks like Asian's jumping around. I know they are in the basin downstream at Grand Lake (west of Pierre Part in the basin). Water in the Lake Verret/Atchafalaya Basin is the highest I've seen for this time of year since I've been in the area.
That is really interesting...thanks for the pics!
