Thanks for the tips. I saw same water temps but missed the first week of April when I figured the biggest wave was up. I went last weekend of march with kids and couldn't get any fish for them on shiners. Caught 4 pretty quick halfway fishing with jigs before they burned out so knew they were there. Looks like it might be smart to put some time in with side vision to locate some in the channels the next the I go. Friend who lives on the lake and practically taught me how to jig always mentions onion island flats maybe that's where I'll start searching.
