Thursday evening after work I went on a little exploritory trip to Grand Bayou to check some brushpiles to decide where I'd fish Good Friday morning. I was pleasantly surprised to pick up at least 1 sac on each top and graphed several more (this is the 1st time we've checked em since Duckcomando and I dropped em a while back) I ended up with 10 nice keepers and took a few pics of a awesome sunset!
Saturday morning my ol buddy rode up from Alexandria and we fished till noon. We ended up hitting all the crappie condos and left em biting with 30 fine keepers. Of all the sacalait we've been catching at Grand Bayou this spring all but 4 or 5 out of over 200 have been black crappie (not that I'm complaining, the blacks fight much harder!) Finally caught a big white crappie this trip!

Way to go Mike. Thanks for the report. Don't know when I will get to go.

So far I really like it a lot! I mainly got it so I could mark our brushpiles on the internal gps but I've also been able to find and follow baitfish balls and locate suspended fish and other structure I couldn't "see" on my previous cheaper unit. It's still new to me and I've been playing around with it as much as I can but I only get to fish 1 day a week and I wanna fish more than I wanna play with the unit. One thing I'm disapponted in is I can't find a lakemaster card for Grand Bayou?? Besides that I would highly recommend it
WTG nice catch bud.
