Worked fine for me. I have gotten the "Bad Item,etc" on occasion but it always worked. Never heard a reason why it shows up that way.

Salter website or his place of business in Erwinville, La.......I buy shiners at Dickies bait shop in Addis, La. and they sell them there....I don't know of any major sporting good stores that sell them.....

Hey Slip, I too don't care for the rings. I like them taped on. Also put a little Teflon tape on the threads. That way you can spin the reel and the nut doesn't back off.
