    Well that's just been my past experience from fishing the muddy Bonne idee. I've seen them jump out of the water before when spooked by my trolling motor bumping the top.

    I did see some top water activity but I did not rig up for it. Too darn lazy. just sat there and drug baits around. Next time I'll be ready.

    Dude, leave that mudhole alone and drive a few miles further and fish Cazan's, Chicot, or Millers. I have fished that lake a few times and caught nothing. I do hear a few times people do catch some, but there are too many other good lakes to fish than that one.
