8 lb. fluorescent green P-line. Probably has break strength of 12 lbs. or so. You can usually straightened out the hook when you are hung up, if you are pulling from the right angle.

I use 12lb, but I don't troll.
Well I have used the Mr Crappie 8lb Saturday on larto and it done real well i like it so far but we didn't get hung on anything and the gar didn't test it yet maybe it has gar repellent on it :)
The Wally Marshall red hooks in #2 are light wire. They have them at Academy & Walmart.Quote:
