Morning, second post on here been a member for two weeks. I've for the most part had pretty solid success fishing points and other areas all over Henderson with the bass. I on the other hand struggle mightily with the Sac-a-lait. One or two trips not withstanding with crickets I got into some bream and goggle eye (North Pelba) but for some reason the white perch continue to elude me. I grew up fishing the other side of the Basin; Grand River Flats, 21' Canal, Grand Lake etc. There the typical go to is a dead end canal or some spots with a run out near by or drain from the woods. I am somewhat familiar with Henderson and have located very few locations like this.
When your fishing are you just trolling the banks in some of the bays/lakes,off the flats, or are there more locations like I am familiar with but haven't found in Henderson? I've not traveled much beyond north Bigeaux and Bay Haha/Pelba and further south I am familiar with "the boulevard" and Bayou Farine. I just want get a better idea of what I could be doing wrong. I went Friday afternoon fished from 430 till dark, caught some nice bass on top water and crankbait but only caught one sac-a-lait.

ahcamb.........welcome to CDC and the ever elusive Henderson.....I have been fishing there for 5 years and it seems the conditions change daily.....I have been humbled there many times but have had some successful trips....changing water levels always introduces many challenges......the best advice I could offer is experiment a lot....try different tactics.....watch where the other boats go.....and watch this forum....we have a lot of guys that fish there and share their knowledge of the lake.....I had 5 sacs today.....looking forward to seeing you out there.....

suggestion...start a "new thread" and introduce yourself again to everyone....this thread is Ranger-Go-Getter's about his fishing trip and we apologize RGG for hi-jacking your thread......

If you are like me that's so you can go in the opposite direction. When I want to be by myself I prefer to be alone. I do like to visit with CDC folks though.
