Or you could do like the wife and I. When we don't have any fish, we will keep 12 to 15 in the 8 to 10" range, after we have a few in the freezer we will keep only 10" and above. With more in the freezer we go to 12" or better, still only keeping 12 to 15 each trip. Not because we can't catch more, just want to leave some for others, mainly I don't like cleaning more that that.
