    Default FIRST TIME CRANKIN' Report

This morning was my first time pushing crankbaits. I have never pulled them either. All in all it went very well. I was using four 14' rods with ScottV 3 ounce weights and Arkie 220 baits. No tangles, no hung baits. Caught 6 nice crappie (13" +/-) in an hour and a half. Much fun...I'm hooked!

    Sorry, no pictures.

    Nice catch!! you too hijacker...
I gotta get more serious about runnin crankbaits. Ive made a couple half-hearted attempts at it but didnt work out for me. I was at Claiborne Sunday. vast expanses of deep water...wouldve been perfect.

Nice catch George. It's fun and relaxing, no wonder it's additive. I like Scott's weights as well. Makes it easier.
