    I'm just a beginner, but the basic idea is to use weight to sink the crankbait to the desired depth rather than letting out a lot of line as is done when pulling. The speed range is around 1.8 mph in order to get the right action from the lures. Most posts I've read on the subject recommend Bandit 300 series or Arkie 350 series crankbaits. If you do a search on pushing cranks you will get lots of good info.

    Different color on each rod at first... by the end of day all rods may have same color. The fish will tell you what they want

    Is there anyone with success that can post a diagram of how the rigging is? I have read part of the 150 page thread but can't garner what I am looking for....

    Are you familiar with the Carolina rig associated with bass fishing? It's basically the same set up ...a 3 Oz weight a 3 or 4 foot leader and the crank

    That helped a bunch, us engineering types have gots to have a roadmap...
