We're getting at least an inch a day here according to my weather station that I have set up. And, I mean everyday. The horseflies are horrendous and big - one inch in length, if not longer. Very aggressive too. Reminds me of the ones we caught in West Texas as kids - tie sewing thread on them and fly them like kites. I have to roll up the windows coming down the driveway, watch them bounce off the glass. They bite hard real quick when they get close and on you. Wish it would dry up, humidity is so thick you can hear the water dropping off the trees. Times like this wish I was back in the Rio Grande valley of either South Texas or West Texas.

Saw in the paper today that the Red River in North Louisiana is at flood stage. Had a picture of a park there somewhere completely flooded.
