No sac a lait, but the bluegill were hungry. Ended up with 27 BIG bluegill in the trees on crickets.

That's the truth. Very nice catch Dapet, some big one's in there is right. Do you think they're in Chicot like that?

Yea, the picture doesn't do it justice. These bream were big. chicot is not as good as Millers Lake in my opinion on numbers and size. but the weather has to be "right" for Millers to be fished. Little or no wind and cloudy. Yes, LFN, it was on ultralight tackle. I fish on a pole I have been having for 30 years. It was called a Diawa minicast long ago. A little 4 foot rod with an ultralight reel. the Diawa reel broke many years ago. I put a Zebco on it now. When you get a big bream on this thing, it feels like a 5 lb bass. You cant just horse it in, you have to tire them out before flipping them in the boat. Lot of fun. And yes, Mr G, they do taste good. Fried some last night.

Very nice catch! I haven't been to Miller's in several years. Last time I went, it was so windy I didn't even launch...there were white caps.

Biggest size chinquapins (an ice chest full) I ever saw were caught there by my brother but that was 20 years ago.
