But it was a good time!

I put the TM down and then the front transducer. I adjusted the angle of my HB 798 side imaging sonar up front and it popped off and fell into the water. I stop breathing and my heart stopped pumping for a couple of seconds as I dove to the floor and reached over the bow to catch it. Thank the Good Lord it floated because I would have been about 2 seconds too late. I blew the water out of the connectors and plugged it in. It went to work without a hitch.

Wow! Losing that would have been a real pain. Good thing you reacted as quickly as you did!
The rod I lost was no big deal. It was the sorriest one I owned and had the top six inches broken off.

You need to get you a bait pump! Then you won't spill your nibbles! Get with Slab Hunter, he invented it and is one of our great Louisiana members.
