Thanks all! I do have 12" leaders tied to 30lb mono. Think I will rig up a couple of noodles with the frayed nylon. Has to be a hoot to see one of the long nose varmints knotted up. Hope to have a gar fry. I have sliced small ones (24 - 32") about as thick as a big shrimp, soak um in buttermilk then batter & fry - been a real long time but I remember it being pretty good. lol Thanks to all.
