Where did you get these at??[/QUOTE]

20watt, used to get them at M and M Fishing Center in Henderson when they were open for about 2 bits a piece.
Got the last ones from Bass Pro, but a pack of 4 is $5 plus shipping

I've done this as well, they work OK, but the square cut causes some drag and affects the jig action differently than the tear shape
I've sanded the edges to smoothen it out. Again it works OK, but I'm used those tear shaped

Never bought them by 100, but I'd say 100 would last the wife and I probably 8 to 10 years or longer.
They last a while, the only thing that wears out is the line cutting the hole to the point that a tooth pick won't hold the line tight anymore, but it takes a while.

Recently with not being able to get the color tube jigs I like to use, for the last 4 years I bulk order them from Midsouth Tackle
I can get 100 tubes for twice the price that you pay for a 20 pack at the stores, so that's 60 free tubes for the price.
Same thing with the jig hooks, I get 50 hooks for the price of 30

I've been there in the past but wasn't looking for indicators when I went.
Been a couple years since I've been there.
But I know I should be able to get bulk cheaper

Ok,So it's not a slip cork. I use to buy tubes in bulk, but they would fade over time, and I like to support the local bait shops.

I like to support them as well, when they stock the product I use. Those bait shops that were not 20 miles out of the way for me didn't keep a good stock and I found myself going weeks without if I wasn't able to be there the day they got their stock in. Many times there were sold out by end of day or the next day while I'm at work.
Got tired of it and started ordering direct. Ain't nothing more aggravating like not having the color they are biting on!

They don't fade for me if I keep the bulk in the house and stock my tackle box as I need. If I put them in the tackle box in the boat they will fade during the off season.

You can use them as a slip cork with the bead

I like the flat top. I works like a popper. When I want less drag I lift the cork when I pull. I bought some white corks like those at academy.
