When I do use them with a jig I use a slip cork.
Reason they call them strike indicators is what they are called when searching for them on the web they are mostly found on fly fishing sights

They are a Wapsi product and trying to buy bulk from them is a tedious project at best. I did a little searching and found some shapes that with a little knife slice may work very well. just some trial and error to get them to work.

Good luck but you are probaly best off buying a dozen or so packs of the product you like.

Just an FYI, but Crazy Angler buys from WAPSI so maybe call him to see if he will get you some on his next order? I have done that many times with Robert. WAPSI will not even sell to tiers like most every other materials supplier does. I try not to like anything enough to buy from them when possible though!
