Well, it's been awhile, and no I didn't give up CDC for lent lol. I've been extremely busy and have a lot on my plate.
The only thing I've been able to put spare time into is my dog and that's because he lives in my yard. Fortunately he can be taught. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1396412465.069568.jpg

Honestly guys I I just had to prioritize my time around the situations at hand.

Well, I did get to go fishing Saturday. I got a call from my good buddy Saute86 and decided to go. I hit the south end of the Mermentau and he hit the Lacassene refuge. I ended up with 20 sacs 1 google eye and threw back a few short fish maybe 4 or 5. All were caught on shiners and would not touch a jig. Saute86 ended up with about the same plus a few bass and all on jigs / wouldn't touch a shiner. I'm sure this had something to do with the water color. The bite started for me around 10:30 and I had to quit at noon. It's hard to leave them bitting after working all morning to find them but, such is life.

For the ones that know me and have asked where I've been, God bless you and I will sneak in when I can, I hope to get caught up enough within the next couple of months to do some real fishing and I miss all you're stories.
