Thread: Back to the river

Made another quick afternoon trip.

Water was a little better than Monday. But not much. Water is still low and with boat traffic, muddy s up quick.

Went to a different area than Monday. Looking for cleaner water.Found better water.

the bream and goggle eyes have moved shallow too. Must have caught 25 of em all on the small side.

Punched a few grass mats and caught a couple sacs. The rest were caught on a black n chartreuse tube jig with a slip cork 12" deep.

Love dat day lite savings. Work 8hrs and catch 3hrs.

Yes! I'm usually high speed from work to water. Now I can even get a drink on the way.
