    Default D'arbonne Question

This is my first year fish down at dbone. Been doing fairly decent in the channel trying to stay away from the circus of boats. My question though is when do these crappie move up? Where do they move up to? I realize this lake is unique and this winter isn't of the norm but do these crappie ever go into a pre-spawn mode and stage off the flats or do they go straight to the banks? What methods do y'all use once they start leaving the channel getting ready to spawn?

I dont know how long you are here for but as of two days ago I could only catch fish in 30 foot water at 20 feet was the zone... temp was 54 .. We fished all the usual spots we catch without a nibble and they are not on the bank... Found an area with yoyos that caught that night the water was 8 feet where they were caught... Stow Creek is one area some fish, But I prefer up Corney there are more Black crappie there. The Flats are loaded with Stumps and sand bars... Google Earth the lake when fishing areas for areas where there is reduced waves from Boats... there are not many good places , thats why folks fish Stow creek

When you see the long ramp road across from jakes start to fill up with bank fishers, they are on the bank. I saw some water 64 degrees around piney point yesterday.
