    Default Amite adventure


    Took my girl and beast out to drown some minners and burn some gas. Had a nice day, only caught one choupique good fight on light tackle! I live out here but have never had much success. Still fun trying! We started at Fred's cruised down the Amite then into Petite Amite back to diversion canal then through the weir back to Fred's.

    Thank you, he is a 5 month old German Shorthair Pointer. He loves boat riding! Pretty good while fishing too! Which was a surprise.

    be careful when it gets hotter.....took my dog last summer in the afternoon and it was just
    too hot for the dog....really good for 5 mos old......

    I definitely will, he drinks from a squirt bottle that I bring. And he went for a swim yesterday, I would hope that if he got to hot he would jump in but will still watch him. Prob won't bring him for to long when it's blistering hot.

    i did meet a fella on the water fishing for sacalait too, he gave me some pointers and areas that he normally catches I hope to try them next trip out. I told him about the site maybe he will join and start contributing!
