Anyone been to Lake Lafourche yet? I drove by it for years going to Boeuf hunting, but fished it for the first time last year. Caught 18 bigguns the one time I went. Ready to try it this year. Talked to a guy last winter who told me about fishing around a culvert near Cat Island when it's cold, but I didn't see it when I went.

Welcome from Corney Creek channel. Do you still do a lot of bass fishing?
Welcome aboard. Only ever night fished once, but think I'm gonna try it more this summer. Bought the lights and everything did it once and never went back. Usually can't find someone to go and don't want to go by myself
Welcome from Ruston,
Fished around jakes ystdy, and caught a good mess. Guys spider r'n had a pretty steady bite until about noon.. I tournament bass fish here and there, but been hooked on perch jerking since the rut ended around here... Night jerking on the Bone is about the same as fishing during the day.. It's hit or miss at times around 33 bridge.. Just gotta have a wet hook when they're feeding..
Good luck out there
Welcome to both of you !!!!! Glad to have lots of us sharing what is happening on the Bone ... Lake Lafourche ? Brothers Son-n-Law has a camp on it.. He just talked to him Today.. Something happened to the Crappie Population a few years back , but getting better. Yesterday he saw A neighbor across from his camp Catch about 20 off his dock... Better yet, the launch Ramp has been replaced with a new ramp that can launch bigger Boats.... See, If Yea hadnt joined you would still be wondering
I only live a couple of miles from you on 33

Welcome from Winnsboro. Are you referring to Lake Lafourche outside of Hebert? If so I've been fishing it a good bit the last two months but the bite is hit and miss. I'm not sure where cat island is.
