You guys are mean. We all started as lurkers. Now we are trying to just be hijackers and some people try to get back on point. Some people, geesh!

I was not a lurker. I joined as soon as I found this site. Even put it to favorites so I could get here quicker. Now back to the beans. I always loved when My mom cooked red beans. I would come home from school, grab me a slice of bread and a spoon and make myself a red bean sandwich before anyone else got home.

Lots of good reading here. Glad I was never a lurker. Sittin' here reading and droolin' on my keyboard. Got to get up and fill the crock pot with beans and sausage, cut up
some 1015's and get the wife to make up a big batch of cornbread. I'll stick with my fried taters & onions, mustard greens and fried okra. Be glad when them fresh maters
are hangin' on the vine. You fellers are fun to hang around with. Anyone got a Miller Lite?

Sorry about your mom, Fast. But welcome here friend. Randy that sounds good. Realized the cornbread was in the oven when I took the picture. Meal was hitten , as my sil says. This has been a fun thread. I was getting bored with fishervets. You know that's a joke Tal, I check it several times a day. I'm hooked!!
