I am going to have to put the pump on a timer. After about 4 hours the water raised 15 degrees. I am going to move the pump to my live well on the boat for the trip home and cruising. I used the aerator for 12 hours today and never had to add ice. I pre-chilled the cooler last night with 4 frozen water bottles. At this time the water is 72 degrees. It started at 67 this morning. I have not lost one shiner. The aerator is the way to go. I did keep 8 bass and 3 sacs today. I finally found the sacs and had to go attend to a family emergency.

I'd kind of like to make a live well like that. I'd have to figure out a way to fill it with the lake water though.

What do I know I can't figure out why someone would need a bait cooler in the first place.

Did you see the kit or just the pump. I was looking for the kit with the fittings.
