Awesome ,vet. My name ends in a vowel, so you know those pictures made me hungry. Busy day PS. lol. We got to spend the day with 2 of the grandson's. Not sure if that makes me feel young or old. Grandpa's will understand. By the way, they are 5 and 8. We just happened to have cleaned out the toy barrel and restocked it with after Christmas sales. We had fun opening up the airplanes, cars and mud trucks/ four wheelers. Tomorrow if we can, break out the bikes and electric 4 wheelers.

We took a little road trip to Pineville to visit a friend. After we ate dinner, since we were only 1 1/2 hrs. away from my daughter's in Bossier and it was only 7:30 PM, Linda decided that we would drive up and spend the night with them. So we did and were hoping to visit with Buster and family but that didn't work out. Next time. I did get to spend some time at Bass Pro by myself so I was able to go as slowly as I wanted. I ended up spending 3.37 for some quick clips. I was thinking hard about one of those Presidents by Pflueger, but passed for the time being. Making the long trip back early this morning.

I have never walked out of a Bass Pro Shop or Cabelas for less than a hundred. Too much eye candy in those places, good thing there isn't one close by.

"G" I already have one of each item and maybe two on some, so I just look. I like to see what;s the latest thing that people just have to have. One thing for sure is that they are really proud of the snacks they have near the front. A couple bags of different ones equal the price of the President I looked at. Those packages burnt my fingers they're so hot.

Thanks Tal, we made the return trip just fine although we traveled through falling snow for about an hour. It was light powder snow and quite a sight. The tree branches were being covered as it fell and made for a pretty sight outlining them against the dark background. Some of the road signs were almost unreadable because of the snow sticking to them. It was getting heavier as we drove until we finally outran it. We were traveling on Highway 71 from Bossier City to Alexandria. The weather men were talking about road closures so I took 71 since it doesn't have all of the overpasses as does the Interstate. It was a nice drive with very little traffic and no 18 wheelers. It added about 30 to 40 minutes to our drive, but from my perspective it was a worthwhile price to pay.
