day 7......when pumping gas in the truck I was imagining what my strategy would be if I was going fishing......I been flip flopping between slip corks and tight lines...and I really think I need to perfect one technique at a time......seems like tight lining is more versatile and probably a more lethal technique in the hands of a good fisherman.....so my imaginary plan that will become reality at least in local waters will be 2 tight lines and one slip cork.....at TB it will be drop shot....shiner fishing......3 rigs.......Zack is coming with me

I'm glad Zack coming again, that was fun with you and him in my the boat with me last time - even though you didn't want to touch the striper you caught. Folks, the man don't care for them. Danny says he will make that boy say more than two words this time.

good job on Lake Martin Mermentau...checked the live well on my boat today....last weekend it nearly flooded my boat....thought the drain was plugged up ...nope ...flushed ok.....probably the intake was turned up way high and it could not drain fast enough...I like to run the water a lot to aerate the well with fish in it.....seems they need to be kept alive if they are put in the live well....not much of a problem in winter...but in the summer I run it a lot......
