vet,,, dont wory about the tactics. You do what works best. We fished the edge of the channel today catching crappie to small to keep and barfish. We desided to go look for a hole that was different. When we located the hole about one hour before dark. The sonar showed thin tightly packed lines of shad with whoppers mixed in. The bands of shad was about a foot thick. The shad were in one area in 32 feet of water. We caught 5 over a pound in 30 minutes. The hand on line works best when trying to drop back in the strike zone when it is 19 feet down. Two feet above or below was not in the zone
