1st question is white or black? and do you count only the hard spines on the dorsal fin?
I did get a scale so I must use it periodically…Location..Big Alabama…..My first sac from deeper than 4 ft…..It was in a submerged laydown 8 ft deep and in 10 FOW…..Aso caught 2 dinky chinks at the same laydown…..I CAN say that JR taught me how to fish THAT laydown….thanks for that JR…..PPG taught me to go back and learn one place which is a work in progress….Thanks for that PPG…..of course there's always a fish story bout the one that got away…..of course it was the big fish o the day……..fishing black and chartreuse in tight cover and the line became heavy…as if I was hung up…which happens a lot BTW….then unlike most sticks and logs it began to swim…so while trying to get the beast under control and attempting to get the net…it got off…saw its head and it was not a gar….could o been a green carp?? would o made my mess with that sac….but instead the sac was released to be caught by someone else…It made my day…hopefully it will make someone else's day as well…thanks for the fix….now to show you how much the water came up.
last saturday the end of the pier was a foot and a half above the water!! cold o the day was red and chartreuse BTW…..
