A buddy of mine says that crappie are the only fish I know of that wake up in the morning looking for a reason not to bite today. Sometimes I believe him.

Scratched this eve after work, fv. Only had an hour and the fish I spent so much time tracking down have now disappeared. Be thankful you have a boat n motor, where you can more easily track em. I have and have had the sickness you have for a looooong time and literally spend every available free minute dragging and carrying a boat through every type of terrain to cure it.
Better days are near.
so these fish…you think……travel all together??….and they migrate…so to speak…deep to shallow and back????and do you think that they move permanently from a said location or does the group just change personnel as they get caught/eaten/die off????turrible to have this sickness ain't it?????
A wise man once said 90% of the fish are in 10% of the water.
Have just found that the cold, here, makes them stack closer. CLOSER is relative to where you are fishing and how. IMO.
I like working ledges from shallow to deep with five feet of line in my hand…when I can drop the paddle.
