    Speckanator, sorry you can't make it. I was looking forward to meeting you.

    Folks, Skip will be checking things out in his area and will be reporting back soon. He will give us the low down here on the thread or on Friday evening at the gathering. The only problem I see with that is having to pass by Hemphill BBQ (Danny, you know what I mean ). Well I shouldn't say pass by.

    just bought a one day non-resident basic fresh water fishing license for my daughter.....$5.........

    wlshafor, come on over. Non resident basic fishing license is $5 per day. I looked on the la wildlife sight. They can be purchased close to the campground.

    If you have moved to Texas you can get a Texas resident license and fish Toledo Bend from both sides. Oh and welcome to the forum.

    Yea I thought about that too Gene but I believe Texas makes you wait a full 6 months (Louisiana makes you wait 12) before they consider you a resident. And he said he just moved there so I wasn't sure how long he had been in Texas.
